A very effective tactic to cover the water thoroughly and catch many trout is to use streamers which match the natural minnows in the streams which the trout feed upon. My favorite streamers for these trout are the Mr. Rapidan Streamer size 10, Shenandoah Silver Ghost Simple Streamer size 10 and Shenandoah Nine Three Simple Streamer size 10. The delayed harvest section of Back Creek is an excellent stream. It was stocked on Friday, October 6, 2017.
