Large Stocked Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report- July 17, 2017

The Lower Pedlar and Back Creek are providing excellent fishing but all of the streams are carrying good water levels and temperatures for this time of the year. We are catching many trout in these sections of the streams below overhanging tree limbs on the Mr. Rapidan Ant size 16 and size 18. By watching closely you can often see these trout rising to the natural ants which constantly fall into the streams in these areas.
