You will get your best fishing and water levels by coming into the streams off the Skyline Drive. The trout are feeding heavily on the good Caddis Hatch we have now. On about half of the pools, I am seeing rising trout as I go one-on-one with them. When I don't spot risers, I fan my cast to all of the feeding stations. The Mr. Rapidan Tan Delta Wing Dry Caddis size 16 and the Brown Elk Hair Caddis size 16 are great on the surface. If you like to fish with a dry fly with a dropper, you can fish with a Murray's Tan Caddis Pupa size 14 on a 24 inch dropper below.
