Mountain Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report- May 16, 2017

Murray's Yellow Drake Dry, Light Cahill Dry and Murray's Professor Dry, Murray's Yellow Drake Dry, Light Cahill Dry and Murray's Professor Dry

Mountain Trout Streams: The gray fox and light cahill mayflies are hatching well and I catch many trout by fishing the Murray's Professor Dry size 16, Murray's Yellow Drake size 16 and Light Cahill Dry size 16 on 6X Leaders. From mid afternoon until dusk we can usually catch several fish in each pool especially in the upper sections of the streams which are reached from the Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway and National Forest Roads.
