The recent rains have brought these streams up nicely and we have had customers say they are doing well with the Murray's Flying Beetle size 14 and the Mr. Rapidan Olive Delta Wing Caddis size 14. Fish these in the corners of the pools and on the lip of the pool. The water temperature has been around 41 degrees in these streams.
Keep in mind the trout are still spawning in these streams so watch where you are stepping so you are not destroying the spawning beds.
