At dusk fish a Murray's Moth size 14 or 16 with a slow twitching action in the back eddies and in the tails of the pools. This is very effective in both fishing the water and to rising trout. The Murray's Flying Beetle has been effective for my personal fishing this past week in additional to the moth.
Boundary parking for Whiteoak Canyon will be closed for about 4 weeks beginning September 16 for bridge replacement. The bridge was damaged by flooding in 2018. Stream Conditions: These streams are starting to get low. Use a cautious approach so you are not spooking the fish. You will have better water levels by accessing the streams from the bottom and hiking up about 30 minutes. Use the stream gradient to hide from the fish and to hide your approach.
