Update August 31, 2018: The North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River are too high for good fishing.
Original Post - August 28th, 2018:There is 2 miles of excellent surface bug fishing on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River upstream from the Covered Bridge (access point #19). I like to park at the Covered Bridge and wade slowly upstream and fish the Shenandoah Blue Popper size 6 and the Shenandoah Sunfish Slider size 6 upstream along the banks.
