Murray's Heavy Hellgrammite

Smallmouth Bass Streams Fly Fishing Report- Murray's Fly Shop

Smallmouth Bass Streams: The smallmouth bass streams are cold but by fishing the slow sections of the deep pools you can catch some good smallmouth bass. The North Fork of the Shenandoah River is good at access point #18 (Meem's Bottom). The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is good at access point #11 (Seakford). Good flies now are the Murray's Heavy Black Hellgrammite size 4, Murray's Heavy Olive Hellgrammite size 4 and Murray's Heavy Brown Hellgrammite.
