Smallmouth Bass Streams Fly Fishing Report - June 15, 2019

Recommended Flies:  Fish the Shenandoah Chartreuse Chugger along the banks. Fish a Shenandoah Blue Popper size 6 along the 3 to 4 deep banks. You will get your best fishing at dawn and dusk.  If you cannot get any topwater action then go to the old standby--Murray's Marauder in Pearl, Olive, or Black size 6.

Stream Conditions:  The North Fork of the Shenandoah River is clear and in beautiful shape. Any of the public access places from Strasburg upstream through Mount Jackson would be great to fish at this time. Access #5 (Chapman's Landing) on the North Fork has been fishing well. The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is clear and fishable.  We have been doing well on our float trips on the South Fork.  All access places are located on our master map in the fly shop.  The water temperature is around 72 degrees.
