The North Fork of the Shenandoah River is starting to drop to normal levels and the color is good. Still a little full for safe wading but okay for kayaking and floating. Plan your trip before heading out as there are dams on the North Fork that prevent floating straight through in some areas. The Murray's Marauder (olive, pearl, or black) works well in these conditions.
The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is still too high for good fishing.
