Smallmouth Bass Streams Fly Fishing Report - September 26, 2019

Recommended Flies: I'm getting good surface fishing with the Shenandoah Blue Popper size 4 and Shenandoah Chartreuse Chugger size 4. Fish these along the shaded banks where the water is 3 to 4 feet deep.  Our guides and customers have been doing well with the Shenk's White Streamer size 6.

 Stream Conditions:

The North Fork of the Shenandoah River is low, clear and fishable. Downstream from access #3 (Burnshire) on the North Fork has been doing well.  Wade slow and carefully so you do not spook the fish.

The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is low, clear and fishable. Upstream from access #13 (Fosters) has been productive.  For all public access, check out our marked map in the fly shop.
