Many large rainbows have been stocked in the delayed harvest streams and by fishing large sculpin streamers you can catch many of the trout. Both Back Creek, the Hidden Valley of the Jackson, and Passage Creek are providing good action now. The water color is good in most of the stocked trout streams but they are running at full levels so fish deeply. Actually a sink tip III line is very helpful.
Using flies such as Shenk's Sculpin size 8 and Murray's Madtom/Sculpin, Black size 8 below the riffles matches the natural sculpin minnows the trout feed upon.
