Bass Caddis Nymph
This is one of the most effective nymphs I've found for large smallmouth bass. It is effective from April until November. Fish it deeply across stream with a slow 2-inch stripping action. It is also effective fished on a 36-inch 2X dropper below a popper or indicator at the edges of the deep water and current.
