Oros strike indicators enclose fastening hardware inside of two foam hemispheres. When closed, the foam compress creating a pressure fit lock that keeps it on the line and in place, without kinking. Large screw threads make securing it to the line effortless, and it it's even easier to lock in place with wet hands.

Glow-in-the-dark strike indicators give you the option to extend your time on the water. Glow-in-the-dark strike indicators help you see strikes better in the early morning, evening and into the night. We have nymphed and dead drifted streamers under glow-in-the-dark indicators with great success.
Charging Oros glow-in-the-dark strike indicators works best with a strong headlamp or UV light. Phone lights do not work as well. We recommend rolling the glow-in-the dark strike indicator in your fingers or on the line for about 30 seconds while it is illuminated. The purpose of rolling the indicator is to expose the entire indicator surface to light.
We have found that Oros glow-in-the-dark strike indicators start off bright and dim over a period of about five minutes. How long you need to go between charges depends on how the indicator was charged, lighting conditions and your eyesight. Consider switching to a larger indicator than you might use for daylight fishing for greater visibility.
